🕯️ Candle Care & Burning Instructions – Joann Scent Fushion Candles

To ensure the best experience and safety when using our handcrafted candles, please follow the instructions below carefully:

🔥 Before Lighting

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. This helps prevent smoking and uneven burning.

• Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface — preferably a candle-safe plate or tray.

• Keep the candle away from drafts, fans, and air vents.

• Remove any packaging or decorations that are not part of the candle itself.

🕯️ While Burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Never burn a candle near anything flammable — including curtains, papers, furniture, or wood surfaces.

• Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room, but away from direct airflow.

• Do not burn candles for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is still hot.

⚠️ Important Notes for Standing & Decorative Candles

• These candles often have unique shapes or wide bases and may burn in unpredictable ways. Always use a proper plate or heat-safe tray underneath them.

• Some candles may drip or pool wax, especially if not burned evenly — the plate or tray will catch any overflow.

• Do not burn to the very bottom of the candle. Leave at least ½ inch of wax to prevent heat damage to the surface below.

🧼 After Burning

• Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or trimming the wick.

• Store your candle in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight to preserve color and scent.
